Second time on the course. Course is very nice, with views to Spain. They do every thing to keep you happy. 10 minutes between flight, is ok to have a nice round.

A sporty and very beautiful golf course. The design of the fairways certainly lives up to a Seve Ballesteros signature course, as does the condition of the course. There are many alternatives for playing the individual holes, depending on your risk tolerance. Definitely a course you can play multiple times without getting bored ;-)

We were picked up late by are transfer company which unfortunately made this day feel rushed from the start only arriving approximately 15mins before teetime not to take anything away from Quinta do vale lovely clubhouse fairways were excellent and as I expected from Seve the layout was exceptional but front 9 tough from the outset would like to play again when in better form and although the greens were receptive and acceptable it looks like unfortunately they have an issue with some kind of weed problem on some of the greens

Reception staff friendly and helpful as ever. I was paired up with 2 others who were good company. The course was in good condition generally, although the greens seemed a bit more uneven than on my previous visit in April.

Super course, 666 is the devils number and in the wind, it lived up to expectations. It gives you opportunities to attack but you have to be realistic and defend when faced with pond in front of the greens and trouble behind.
It’s a very good test, and good value.

Absolutely Love this course, but hear golfers complain that it’s too tough!
When we play here we always play scramble drives, it just makes the game so much more enjoyable!
Take in the views and just enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

First time on Quinta do Vale. Smart clubhouse, not large with good reception. Though a 'resort' style course not busy or crowded (late February). Starter said less busy than usual. We had a buggy which was a good idea as the back nine is pretty hilly. Recent rain so course in good condition. Greens really fast and excellent though they still would hold the ball and left small pitch marks.
Loads of water hazards on the front nine (and the 18th). Both lateral and across the fairways. Lost four balls in the water, my partner six.
We played the 54 tees, equivalent to Yellow/seniors.
I was 16 over playing off 13, my partner 11 over playing off 18.

We were welcomed at reception and asked if we had played before, which we had several times. The staff in the bar were all great, as was our starter. The course was in good condition and the greens were very quick! Thoroughly enjoyed our day out. The staff at teatime were also very helpful.

Greeted by the pro who was very helpful. Explained the layout and directions. Course is a good test and greens were excellent. Tees also very good, fairways a little untidy in places.

This course is described as suitable for all standards of golfer, sorry this is not true. Some of the carries over water were ridiculous for a high handicap player. There is little room for errors as well. I know that I played just a few days after stormy weather but that is no excuse for the condition of the course which is poor in places. Greens are inconsistent. Very expensive for what it is.

My second visit to Quinta do Vale on this trip & it was much more pleasant than the first. Staff were friendlier and helpful. Only downside is the amount of TLC that the course needs.

I arrived at reception at 9.45 for a 10.00 tee time & was told that the other players were waiting for me on the tee. The receptionist told me she would bring me a trolley while I fetched my clubs. I didn't see her at reception when I had my clubs, so assumed the trolley would be taken to the 1st tee, but it wasn't, so a further delay. I still teed off before 10.00, but was not happy that I was made to feel that I was late.
The course was not in great condition, especially the fairways. The new system of numbers instead of colours for the tee boxes seems pretty pointless.
I'm playing there again soon, so I hope for a better experience.

Really enjoy the challenge of Quinta do Vale. The course was in good condition, and the only negatives are the distance and the price a little on the high side. But I like Quinta do Vale to be one of the regular venues.

This is a tough course but with varied tee options. First nine flat with lots of water and difficult to judge carries. Back nine on hilly land but easier to see where you are going. Greens in very good condition - fairways and surrounds not as good.

Staff is great in all aspects from arriving and checking in to checking out of the bar!
Layout of the course is very good and challenging!
The drawback is the fairways are bare in many spots and they may have some drainage issues from rain leaving a soggy course.
