Vale da Pinta Golf Course is one of the best-designed courses in Europe. It has earned a deserved reputation for the outstanding level of maintenance of the course, and its design, which makes it a challenge to golfers of all standards.|The rolling terrain is dotted with carob, fig, almond and olive trees, some of which are more than 600 years old, and a very special feature of this course is one olive tree that dates back more than 1200 years.|The size of the greens is specifically matched to the length of the approach shot. It is certain to be appreciated by experienced golfers, for whom a round on this course will provide genuine excitement and a memorable and enjoyable days play.

Staff at the course were excellent but the round took close to 6 hours which is possibly the longest round of golf any of us has had.
The course was overloaded which unfortunately slightly spoilt the experience

Great course, variety of different hole layouts. We had not played it for 9 years and the fairways and greens were a lot greener. Will always play when staying in Carvoeiro.

*Dogleg - Several on both 9's
*Tree Lined - Sparse Olives
*Exposed - More so on back 9
*Buggy Recommended - If Essential
*Water hazards - 5th and 13th
*Parkland - Park and Heath Land feel
