Silves Golf Course offers an exhilarating challenge from start to finish, now elevated by a stunning new clubhouse with a terrace that provides a perfect view of the 18th green. The course may begin with two short par 4s, but don't be fooled—Silves demands precision and bold, attacking play. With the recent layout change, what was once the 1st hole is now the thrilling 18th, providing an unforgettable finish to your round.
The course’s natural beauty and elegant design offer a relentless test of accuracy, making it truly second to none. As you navigate each hole, you’ll be treated to spectacular mountain and valley views, framed by lush palm trees and ancient olive groves. You might even find yourself picking fresh oranges or figs along the way—an experience as unique as the course itself. Surprised by how enjoyable Silves was as it's not that high up on review lists . Nice course , good variety of holes .Not overly long so perfect for holiday golf- but hilly in spots- mostly from green to following tee, so buggy recomended

Silves is one of our favourite courses in the Algarve. It doesn't have spectacular views, or particularly outstanding holes, but just a relatively open course which can be enjoyed by golfers of all abilities. Always in good condition with friendly staff. Only minor complaint is the pace of play was quite slow which I attributed to a few groups of older and higher handicap golfers in the 4-ball groups ahead of our 2-ball.

*Undulated - Rolling fairways, not steep
*Dogleg - A few gentle dog legs
*Exposed - Generally wind playing a part on difficulty
*Buggy Recommended - Yes
*Water hazards - a few water hazards ,especially on the par 5 , 13th hole
*Parkland - typicall algarve landsscape
*Signature Hole - 13th, par 5
*Comments - New course,reasonable value
