It was okay back 9 better than front 9. Buggy is a must but be careful Buggy paths a bit tricky in places. Only downside was stuck behind a mixed four ball who took over 2 hours to play 6 holes. Need to contact golf reception to sort it.
Nice course, a bit difficult playing for the first time. Some blind shots and certain ones where placement is very important. Would have been good to have a bit of information on the card to describe each hole.
Zu schwierig für mich, Hcp 16. -**- Too difficult for me, Hcp 16.
A nice track but a bit shabby
Very undulating course with few flat lies on the front nine.
Friendly staff , hilly course with lovely views.
I enjoyed the game even though the wind got up on the back 9. The course is very hilly so it can be testing on the legs, and lungs. Greens were good and fairways generous.
A very existing course, lots of steap hills and ondulated fairways. Every hole needs course management. It’s totally different from Palmares golf. Inlands and not as luxurious. But hospitality very pleasant and good food. The greens needed some repair. A bit outdated at times.
Great course and cheaper than anywhere else in peak season.
Course was looking a bit tired in places but still a good visit.
Very fine cource
Terrible course. It shouldn't be called a golf course. Very poor course in very bad condition. Too much hilly walking. Will never go back there again. All round a bad experience for all four. Couldn't wait to get to the 9th hole and leave
Interesting course, not in fantastic condition, good price
Decent course in pretty good condition. Buggies a bit old
Great service, great advice
looking a little uncared for- needs work.
Course condition not good ,, greens particularly full of fusarium which is not good , generally upkeep of course not as one would expect , disappointed
Bad mantained thirst 9 holes. Very friendly People.
Always enjoyed playing here. Good pace around the golf course.
3 of our players had not played the course before and were very impressed with the course quality and scenery.
Great service as usual so keep up the good work.

The best, I can say, it´s cheap. More an adventure game, than a golf course. The course is not in a good shape, but the greens are o.k. Very hilly and a buggy is strongly recommended. The staff was friendly, the little restaurant we did not visit. Not a bad golf day, but we will not play it again.
Really a wonderful area, for climbers and mountain Wanderers, but not to play Golf! After 14 years we tried it again, but sorry, never again. Good greens, the fairways and the shape could be better. Nice surrounding, but thats it.
Lovely but very beautiful course.
Good course like last year , cheers
Fantastic layout, however in very poor condition
Great days golf favourite of the week course in great condition
Niall Mc Guigan
Hired out buggies but had to walk most of it because we weren’t allowed on 8 of the fairways with the buggies ! Would need to be very fit to climb up and down all the hills. Ranger was a real jobs worth . Extremely windy Paths are very steep and would be dangerous in the wet Seemed like a club that didn’t really want visitors
The course is like a rollercoaster, a lot of hidden holes, green's very good. Great views . But not a real golf course
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Golf de montagne ,très bien dessiné, buggy obligatoire, vu les distance et le terrain accidenté.
rather good, Hilly course, some alomst impossible holes, Beuatiiful surroundings
Fantastic nice and varied course.

Course played quite tough in the breeze but very enjoyable
Excellent day’s golf at an attractive and well maintained course with friendly and welcoming staff.
Played this many times over the years, still love the challenges I offers very good day
Beautiful course. Some quirky holes on front 9 but had a great day. Starter friendly and welcoming. Would happily play again.
Everything was perfect!
Enjoyed thwe challenge
Played the course same time last year and found this year it played a bit better for knowing the layout. A nice welcome at the clubhouse and pro helped with a couple of things. We had 2 in buggies, 4 with electric trolleys and 1 with a pull trolley. It is very hard going with the pull trolley !! Best advice is book buggies before you visit as they only had a couple available for our group with a 1pm tee. All aspects of course maintenance were good, a couple of the greens played at different pace to the others but that’s to be expected with the different terrain. Nice balcony to relax after the round and although a bi5 of a way out from where we were staying worth the drive for first round of five in five days. Good value for money given the general prices on the Algarve
Helpful and friendly
A quirky course that requires getting used to! When you understand the strategic nature of the course, one can then relax and plot your way around. A buggy certainly helps with the hills, valleys and slopes. A reasonably priced day out for some fun holiday golf. Condition was good in general with greens running nicely. Tees a little worn but it’s summer and hot. Worth a visit as this course is nothing like other Algarve courses.
Everything was very efficient we managed to go off early by an hour teeing off on the 10th which was good for us! I had quite forgotten what a beautiful course it was and what a delight it was to play! Thanks for your help in organizing our golf!
I enjoyed the course, it took a few holes to settle into the hilly vagaries of the lay out. Which slop do I aim for! An interesting day, challenging hole, not always the driver, fairway or rescue club from tees for accuracy. Greens in decent condition but slower than I usually play on. Holiday course, definitely use a buggy or you will be a 5 stone lighter!
Brilliant reception. Friendly staff. Course and greens terrific. All golfers really happy.
Another great course on the algarve with many outstanding holes! If your in the region and you like a course with elevation changes this is a must play.
Tough course but very good. You must use a buggy as it’s very hilly. A bit unfortunate as they have just done the greens and they are very bumpy.
Très beau parcours. Très vallonné. Prendre buggy.le terrain est en très bon état. Les greens sont magnifiques
Nice people, very hilly so take a buggy could do with sand in bunkers and a water buggy as in the heat it is required
Very good service and a fun but tricky course. You need a buggy.
A marvellous and challenging course with a lot of wind which gives playing there an extra dimension. Nice clubhouse and good service. Beatifull surroundings. We ll defay there again
Very difficult course but picturesque ! Not very woman friendly however...too long...Finally, greens don’t always keep the line...maybe the grass was a bit long. Quite a challenging golf course.
Dr. Markus Feidicker
very nice and beautiful golf course, which was in excellent shape. challenging, but fair. Clubhouse ok. would definitely come back
Great layout of a golf course. No sand in bunkers. Tees uneven. Fairways and greens goid.
Hilly course requiring buggies but well improved
Excellent golf course and service. Transfer drivers all extremely professional and polite.

We had two very enjoyable rounds. There are a few tough tee shots on the course but a very enjoyable experience. Good pint and food in the spike bar
Check in was a breeze, because it was extreme.y windy, it did color our experience. Front nine is a bit quirky but the back nine was more of a normal course. Overall though good.
I have played there first time 1992, so it is like my homecource in Algarve
A nice and relaxed round of Golf on a difficult course. Not so busy as many other courses in the Algarve. A buggy is highly recommended, even if you have to stay on the path at some holes (not only the Par 3). If you do like only flat courses, this is the wrong place for you.
Thoroughly enjoyed our game on this physically demanding course. It made our home course which is well known for its hills seem quite tame. We walked the course but would recommend a buggy, particularly as distances from green to tee can be quite long. Also, don't forget to pick up a course map as it isn't printed on the scorecard. We will probably play it again when we return next year.
Very nice and challenging course
Martin Georg Hilke
Nice Course, sunny location,
Very nice back nine but the front nine has three silly blind holes We managed to get buggy due to a cancellation don’t know weather we could have managed to walk it Everyone was very nice and friendly
Underrated course, the cheapest I have played and one of the best lovely scenery very hilly but some of the holes are amazing
Very busy course with some VERY slow players!! Otherwise course in good condition and staff pleasant.
Undulating course. Condition was excellent. Buggies a must. Overall great value for money. Better value than some of its more illustrious neighbours.
Quick and easy ... Very happy
Golf carts need mechanical overhaul. Difficult, however enjoyable
Max De Groot
Poorly maintained buggy roads leading to slippery and dangerous situations. Moreover, many Mickey mouse holes. Not a recommendable course.
Very friendly team, good food and a very tricky but good course. Hilly to say the least.
Played the course which is testing on previous visits. Course in good condition and good facilities including food/bar.
Excellent all was good thanks
nice course in good conditions
Nice course fairways good, greens not bad but not all the same, but enjoyable.
mr m rajowski
to hilly for me had to get out and walk most of the course as you could not take buggy on some fairways
Enjoyed the course. Fairways were in good condition but the greens had a lot of unrepaired pitch marks. However they were fast and nice to putt on the. Staff on the course were extremely courteous. My only complaint would be the price of a buggy!!!!!! at 50 euro surely the most expensive on the Algarve. As I only paid 55 euro for the round that came as a bit of a shock
Interesting and challenging course in good condition with friendly staff. Long drive to get there but well worth the effort.
Toller, ungewöhnlicher und nicht einfacher Platz
Beautiful course not for beginners
Very hilly, meaning many above / below feet fairway shots, and most penal even for the straight drives which head down the slopes. Many blind shots as well, with the 6th being painful to know where the ball has actually landed even after a straight tee shot. As you’re not allowed to use your buggies on a number of holes and due to the slopes, you can spend an age wondering where your ball has landed / ended up on the blind shots. That said, the greens were in very good condition and there are some lovely looking golf holes.
A well maintained and interesting course.
James John Galbraith
Lovely course well laid out but the worst bunkers I have experienced golfed there many times
Good experience playing at Santo Antonio as expected. It was helpful for me to be assigned to play along with others when I was alone. There is a little maintenance required on a few parts of the course - e.g. I was surprised to be playing the 18th hole from a temporary tee.
What a beautiful golf course, only spoiled by having to keep to the buggy paths, you end up walking further, up and down the hills of the fairways. Although we were in buggies I couldn't recommend this course to anyone who isn't very fit. Can't take anything away from the beauty of this golf course though, It's challenging but good scores are achievable.
First time I have played this course and it was very challenging but very picturesque. The staff where friendly and helpful. Highly recommend if you want to test your game. I play off 12 and scored 89 so was happy with that. Make sure you have a buggy as it’s hilly.
Very nice course. Challenging natural profile. Hilly character and some hidden greens make for a demanding but very nice golf day. Buggy could be useful. Lovely setting of the club house and patio together with its friedly stuff make this visit perfect. Improvement suggestion. It would help guest flights which come for the first time to find complete and more destinct ' Next Tee ' indication.
very good course in excellent condition
Caspar von der Crone
great place in the mountains, that makes the game varied and I look forward to the next visit
Because of the topography, you have to play a second time to play it with pleasure. The course has seen better times and urgently needs maintenance so that it doesn't get any further. The brakes of all the buggies we used were in poor condition. Friendly staff and good service at the club restaurant.
Fantastic customer service picturesque course with some tough holes I eould tecommend this course
Pro shop staff very friendly and helpful. Was able to play with a couple that was more familiar. With the course and had averyenjoyable round. I found the course to be in very good shape. It had been in 2004 that I played the course last.. looking forward to playing there again.
My first visit to this cources was 1992 and I still admire its beautiful layout.
The course was well presented. We started on our tee time and had a clear hole ahead and behind us. A very enjoyable round and good food in the clubhouse..
Enjoyed the golf. Everybody was friendly and helpful.
Very nice course. We love to play there.
Very nice course, a few blind shots (tee shot 6, seconds on 8 and 10). Fairways in good shape, excellent greens. Friendly personal.
Very interesting course all enjoyed Will go back and hope for less wind
Always a pleasure to play this course great holes
First time to play this course back nine very good again staff very helpful
Really fun and enjoyable course to play, nice variety of holes. Value for money.
Be aware the course closes at 18:45 so make sure you have enough time to complete your round, we had a delay due to rain which meant time was a little tight, although we did get round in time, buggy needed otherwise it's a long walk. Super course, some great challenging holes but plays fair for all standards. Definitely recommend this course.
Always a pleasure to play.
Michael Patrick Manogue
everything was first clasd with this golf course hope to return some time in the futher
The staff was friendly and very helpful. I thought the course in pretty good condition considering it was January. Greens were fast with a lot of undulation.
Always excellent. First out in the morning - can't be beaten.
Bit disappointed that we had to wait for buggies ( very apologetic ) when we had booked them as part of the package way in advance. Should not be hard to know how many you need in a day and allocate accordingly. Course in great shape as ever, always challenging
Course has improved again under new ownership. well maintained. Very nice to play.
Lovely courses and efficient friendly people. Looked after us very well
This is the 3rd time I have played St.Antonio, we enjoy the variety of holes at the course.
Sehr hügeliger, anspruchsvoller Platz, den man taktisch klug spielen muß.
We liked mostly and played three times in same week.
beautiful scenery, nice course, buggy was fine
Course in excellent condition. 9th hole unfair golf hole due to limited landing area for economic shot followed by long 3rd. You booked us in for an extra game on the 16th. We could not play as was too foggy. Voucher given for a round up to end of October 2016
Testing course.was in good condition. Some difficult holes particularly the 9th which is the most difficult hole on the course and is unfair due to slope of the land and narrow landing area for second or third shot followed by long uphill shot to green
