Silves Golf Course offers an exhilarating challenge from start to finish, now elevated by a stunning new clubhouse with a terrace that provides a perfect view of the 18th green. The course may begin with two short par 4s, but don't be fooled—Silves demands precision and bold, attacking play. With the recent layout change, what was once the 1st hole is now the thrilling 18th, providing an unforgettable finish to your round.
The course’s natural beauty and elegant design offer a relentless test of accuracy, making it truly second to none. As you navigate each hole, you’ll be treated to spectacular mountain and valley views, framed by lush palm trees and ancient olive groves. You might even find yourself picking fresh oranges or figs along the way—an experience as unique as the course itself. The revamped 18th hole now delivers a final test where your opening shot must skillfully navigate between two water hazards, culminating in a dramatic conclusion that you can enjoy from the clubhouse terrace.

We enjoyed Silves. The course was in good order and our early tee time meant we got back to our hotel in good time to freshen up and have a good meal before our airport minibus at 05.00.

I like the Silves course a lot. The only thing that lets it down is the lack of practice facilities like a range or nets and the practice putting green has been taken away.

*Exposed - Generally wind playing a part on difficulty
*Buggy Recommended - Yes
*Water hazards - a few water hazards ,especially on the par 5 , 13th hole
