Nick Faldo Golf Course, designed by Nick Faldo, with strategic play in mind, this golf course demands careful positioning to score well, rocky outcrops, meandering watercourses and views to the distant mountains and orange groves defining its essential character.|Faldo golf course opens with a testing uphill, Par-4, offering a number of 'risk reward' opportunities.The downhill, Par-5, fourth encounters a meandering watercourse, which comes into play on three of the front 9 holes and two on the back niine.The inward 9 holes include several, blind holes which will become the talking point of the '19th hole cognoscenti'. Faldo golf course offers a serious testing for the mid low handicap players, and can be a serious nightmare for beginners. In all Faldo golf course needs to be played more then once to give any player a chance of a good score.

Fabulous set up. Course fab, Clubhouse super, Pro-shop fantastic ....but SLOW!!!! 8 min tee times aren't working, sort the 6 hour round out and i'll be back!!!

The initial contact at the desk was not very friendly however the starter was fantastic. Same at Penha.
Course was breathtaking but a bit dry and the traps were marginal. No GPS in the buggies and there’s some guessing on shots

The group reservation was not clear to the club. Some timings were changed on the day itself.
The course was great, but we had a lot of issues with the geofencing. It was sometimes not allow to drive on the path which gave some difficulties to go to the next holes.

Beautiful course but the day was ruined by how slow the round took
We left after 9 holes due to it taken 3 hours to play the front 9 .
I understand the course was busy but there was 2 groups ahead of us that held the whole golf course back we spoke to a staff member after 5 holes
When the tail back to tee off was 4 groups on one tee box but noting was done about the pace of play .
Again the resort and course was beautiful but run very poorly

Mixed feelings really, some very interesting holes and would probably have enjoyed it more had I played it before, too many blind shots. Also spoiled by a 5 hour round and no sign of marshalls moving along a group ahead who were holding everybody up. Tees were poor, greens were good, bunkers ok. Typical resort course, a buggy essential as long distances between greens and tees plus elevation changes

Nice course but marks for distances on the fairways are missing! Also toilets are missing unless you can wait until hole 15
